The family accommodation consists of nine family rooms accommodating up to seven (two adults – five children) each with en-suite shower and toilet. Each room has a television and a radio alarm clock. All bedding is supplied but not towels. One room has disabled access.
There are two fully equipped self catering kitchen diners for the family rooms, complete with all cooking and dining utensils, including two gas hobs, ovens, microwaves, fridges and freezers to each kitchen. Each dining area has a very large flat screen television complete with Sky Freeview and a DVD player.
The dormitory style accommodation offers units or groups up to 49 beds in 4 to 8 person rooms; however, don’t forget your sleeping bags as bedding, pillows and towels are not provided. Feeding is in the JSMTC dining hall on a nominal role. This site is not 'pay-as-you-dine'.
The Campsite is adjacent to the Sailing Centre on the banks of the Menai Straits and those camping are welcome to use the ablutions at the Centre. The Campsite was designed and planted to provide ‘alcoves’ for tents that are sheltered by shrubs and saplings that provide very effective wind breaks.
Everyone staying at the Nuffield Centre, the family accommodation, the dormitory or campsite has access to laundry and drying room facilities.
