Welcome to the Nuffield Centre

The Nuffield Centre at Indefatigable provides affordable accommodation for Service Personnel and their families in North Wales on the banks of the Menai Straits under the view of Snowdonia and the Snowdonia National Park. The Nuffield Centre is unrivalled as a base for exploring the coast and mountains of North Wales or to be involved in the multitude of activities available locally. Only a minutes drive from the A55 and A5, the access is easy and the scenery stunning. Together with the Nuffield Sailing Centre providing RYA/ASA courses and numerous other waterborne activities, a climbing wall completes any holiday.

Accommodation

The family accommodation consists of nine family rooms accommodating up to seven (two adults – five children) each with en-suite shower and toilet. The dormitory style accommodation offers units or groups up to 49 beds in 4 to 8 person rooms. find out more

Sailing Centre

Recently refurbished, the Nuffield Sailing Centre is set directly on the banks of the Menai Straits within the grounds of JSMTC Indefatigable and the facilities include showers, toilets, and a large balconied clubroom directly over looking the Menai Straits complete with bar and BBQ area.

Climbing Wall

This venue offers beginners and experts alike the facilities one would expect from a modern indoor climbing wall. The top roping wall has 22 in situ ropes with featured routes from “easy” to “Fr 6c” with a “tower” for practising rope work systems. find out more
