Families Accommodation
The family accommodation consists of nine family rooms accommodating up to seven (two adults – five children) each with en-suite shower and toilet. Each room has a Freeview television. All bedding is supplied but not towels. One room has disabled shower access. There are fully equipped self catering kitchen / diners for the family rooms, complete with all cooking and dining utensils, including gas hobs, ovens, microwaves, fridges and freezers to each kitchen. The family lounge has a television complete with digital television and a DVD player. Please note: Dogs are NOT allowed in the accommodation wing.
Dormitory Accommodation
The dormitory style accommodation offers units or groups up to 50 beds in 4 to 8 person rooms. Occupants will need to bring their own towels, sleeping bag or bed linen / pillow if required, since we do not provide any bed linen. Those on duty can be fed in JSMTC’s Cookhouse once a nominal role and feeding plan has been submitted. Please note this site is not ‘pay-as-you-dine’. Please note: Dogs are NOT allowed in the accommodation wing.
Camping
Our Campsite is adjacent to the Nuffield Sailing Centre on the banks of the Menai Strait. It was designed and planted to provide ‘alcoves’ for tents that are sheltered by shrubs and saplings that provide very effective wind breaks. All campsite guests are welcome to utilise the laundry facilities which consist of both a washing machine and tumble dryer, and for those rare inclement days in North Wales, a large drying room to hang your kit. These are located adjacent to the dormitory accommodation. Toilets, showers and washing up facilities are available within the adjacent Nuffield Sailing Centre. Please note that there are no electrical hook ups. Dogs ARE allowed on the campsite and are to be kept on a lead at all time whilst on the JSMTC base.
