Sailing Taster Sessions

Don’t worry if you have never been on a boat before, our Sailing Taster Sessions are all about getting people onto the water for the first time and having a go! Look out for our open Sailing and Watersports Taster days.

We can set you up with all you need to jump on the water for the first time – a wetsuit, boots, a spray top and a buoyancy aid. We will set the boat up for you and show you the basics, before helping you onto the water with an instructor by your side.

Our Family Taster Sessions are ideal for family groups of up to 6 persons. Children must be at least 7 years of age. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get out on the water as a family.

We also run Half Day Sailing Taster Sessions suitable for groups of friends or Units staying at the Nuffield Centre.
